This month, I'll be talking to ten different 5th grade classrooms about how broadsides were used to advertise songs during the Civil War Era. I love the concept of reviving the broadside format to spread poetry in the digital world!

Thank you so much for posting about our Digital Broadsides and Pocket Broadsides projects, Josephine! (Though I should note that we did Pocket Broadsides in collaboration with another magazine, KARTIKA REVIEW, so the credit for that particular project belongs as much to them as it does to us).
I'm so excited to hear that you will be sharing about our broadsides in the classroom. It's rare enough that we (as poets) get to think of the history of print, so I am so glad to hear that you'll be giving students the opportunity.
