- "My Shadow" from A Child's Garden of Verses (one of my favorite poetry books as a child)
- Beautifully illustrated Eugene Field poems like Wynken, Blynken, & Nod and The Sugar Plum Tree (both staples of my childhood reading)
- Pinnochio in it's entirety!
- The Little Engine that Could illustrated by Lois Lenski
- Raggedy Ann in Cookie Land (This one cracked me up. I remembered the cover of this book vividly from my childhood, and I remembered the soda water icicles like I could taste them. - All kinds of Beatrix Potter books
